What is Ariculotherapy?

The inverted fetal position seen in the human ear is described as a micro-system in Chinese Medicine.  It contains points that relate to the organs and body parts.  We call this system ariculotherapy.  The acupuncturist strategically places “seeds” or “magnets” on specific points to enhance the effectiveness of your treatment.    You massage the “seeds” for 15-30 seconds several times a day.  They generally stay in your ear for 3-4 days up to a week.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a technique that uses light-touch to the body to relieve pain and dysfunction while improving whole-body health and performance. It releases tensions deep in the body. Everyday we have stress and strains and when our body reaches a certain point then it turns it into tension and tightness within the muscles. This has an effect on the brain and spinal cord.

Few body structures have more impact over your health and wellness than your central nervous system. CST affects the soft tissues and fluid that protect your brain and spinal cord. By freeing the central nervous system to work it's best,
CranioSacral Therapy naturally eliminates pain and stress, strengthens your resistance to disease, and enhances your health and wellness.

CranioSacral Therapy can be used on any age. It is gentle and very relaxing. Most people get so relaxed that they fall asleep while receiving a treatment.

CST can affect migraines, headaches, neck and back pain, stress, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, TMJ syndrome, scoliosis, PTSD, motor-coordination impairments and many other conditions.

CST was developed by Dr. John E. Upledger, an osteopathic physician. You can read about him on his website at

I had thought about trying acupuncture for years before finally getting around to making my first appointment with Kathren Bunt. Allergies are a problem for me, and I was frustrated with the frequency and expense of allergy shots. The acupuncture treatments are controlling my allergy symptoms as well as any other treatment I've ever tried. Even better, I was surprised to find that acupuncture has significantly reduced the back pain and stiffness I suffer due to degenerative disc disease. My only regret is that it took so long to try acupuncture. Kathren's treatments are painless and relaxing, and I really feel they have made a positive difference in my overall health.
